5 Steps to Changing Our Mindsets to Achieve Goals

Article

Success is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics. Here is how to speed up the path to success.

Regardless of what our goals are, it has been scientifically proven that if we want to achieve them with great success, it all starts in our heads.

Yup. Regardless of what the actual goal is, a successful outcome is determined through 80% psychology and 20% mechanics, according to life and business strategist Tony Robbins.

So before we even start putting in the work needed to make a goal become a reality, we can guarantee that it will happen and happen quickly by focusing on strengthening our mindsets.

So how do we start, and how do we know if we are doing it correctly?

Here is how to get started transforming out mindsets to an empowered asset that can be controlled:

1. Know the outcome

. We must be specific about what we want and not limit ourselves or try to figure out how it will happen.

2. Know the reason.

When we know the driving force behind our desires, the “how” will work itself out.

3. Take action

. Wishing does absolutely nothing. Putting those wishes to work through the actions we take is what will transform our dreams into reality.

4. Track progress.

We will not have any idea if we win or lose if we do not measure it, because what gets measured gets managed.

5. Change the approach.

If we have not yet reached our goal, it helps to look back at our actions and the results that the produced. If it is not what we set out to achieve, we should ask ourselves what we could have done differently based on what we learned and then put that into action.

Starting small and committing to work at this every day builds this strength just like a muscle. That can empower us to achieve goals we once thought were impossible.
