Sodium Nitrite Injection

Hope Pharmaceuticals (Scottsdale,Ariz) recently announced the release ofSodium Nitrite Injection USP 3% in singledosevials. This product is indicated for thetreatment of cyanide poisoning. It is a primarycomponent of the Cyanide AntidoteKit, which is used by hospitals and publicsafety authorities for emergency preparedness.Cyanide inhalation can causesevere toxic effects and death within minutesto hours.
