Pharmacy Hero: Pharmacist Cares for Patients, Inspires Daughter to Become a Pharmacist

Today we’re celebrating Lendi Muehlbauer, RPh, who works at a Rite Aid in New Jersey. Muehlbauer has been tirelessly caring for her patients during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. She was nominated by her daughter, Carlie Muehlbauer, who said her mom is the reason she has entered pharmacy school.

“During this pandemic, she has been away from us a lot more than usual, working day in and day out to care for her patients,” Carlie Muehlbauer said in a message to Pharmacy Times^®. “She works crazy hours and not once has she complained. She comes home every day thankful to be able to care for so many people.”
