Pet Peeves (May 2016)
Read about unappreciated advice, nosy patients, and other pet peeves.
When a patient says he has a cough, and then coughs all over me to prove it.
Unappreciated Advice. When a patient asks for a recommendation, which I give, but then he says, “Well, Dr. Oz says...”
Busybodies. When a patient stands at the counter staring and says, “You guys must get bored standing there counting pills all day long.”
Arguing Over a Recommendation. When a patient asks me for a product recommendation, and then she proceeds to argue with me about it.
