Prose Skin Care

From: Prose

Prose has announced an expansion of its customizable hair care line into skin care. The company’s new skin care line will offer personalized formulas created and tailored to individuals using science and artificial intelligence (AI), making it the first AI-powered skin care line for personalization. According to a news release from the company, the line is dermatologist tested and approved with clinical tests showing results in approximately 4 weeks. The online consultation is built from insights with more than 80 factors, including skin type, diet, stress, pollution, and climate. The skin care products include a custom cleanser, serum, and moisturizer, which can be customized by fragrance, fragrance free, and texture.

FOREO has launched a new acne treatment, ESPADA 2 Plus, which is modeled after the first generation of the device. ESPADA 2 Plus contains blue light therapy with T-Sonic pulsations that are aimed to target and eliminate acne-causing bacteria deep within the pores. According to a news release from the company, the ESPADA 2 Plus was designed with portability for on-the-go use and has a battery life of up to 240 treatments on a single charge. The device is FDA cleared and clinically proven to treat and heal spot-prone skin, clearing spots, blemishes, and inflammation. The device also regulates sebum production to prevent breakouts. Based on a 28-day clinical trial, 3 in 4 individuals reported visible results after the first use and 4 in 5 reported a decrease in breakouts as well as smoother, less oily skin.

Hair Blends Line

From: Hers

Hims & Hers Health Inc has launched a Hair Blends line that is formulated for women who may benefit from personalized options to treat hair loss. The Hair Blends line will be both OTC and include access to prescription medication to accommodate patient needs. The blend combines dietary supplements with healthy hair support, including biotin, vitamin C, vitamins B5 and B6, zinc, and selenium. The treatment includes a range of formats, including oral and topical.

Warm Eye Masks

ZEISS has launched Warm Eye Masks that are used to gently heat and soothe, relax, and stimulate the meibomian glands in the eyelids. The warmth helps to unblock the oil glands, which supports natural tear production to keep the eyes moist and refreshed. They are designed to fit comfortably on the face and have soft ear loops. The masks self-heat for up to 15 minutes to stimulate the moisture levels in the eyes. They are hygienic, individually wrapped, and can be used at home or on the go. The masks can be used for dry eye relief and daily discomforts, including sore or tired eyes, excessive screen use, and airborne pollution.
