Mental Recess: PharmCats
Two cats with a passion for pharmacy won over the hearts of the judges at the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting and Exposition in March 2015.
Two cats with a passion for pharmacy won over the hearts of the judges at the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in March 2015.
The Best Picture Award went to Mercer University’s video, which depicts cats named Minkey and Jepson inspiring 2 student pharmacists to serve at a health fair. By the end of the clip, students Heather Corbo and TJ Geers decide that the best way to voice their value as pharmacists is to get more involved in the community.
PharmCats, created for the APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists’ PharmFlix 2014 contest, was edited and directed by Corbo and Geers, with the help of Sean Bailey as Minkey and Ahmed Michael Koudous as Jepson.
