The FDA has launched an app that informs users of current drug shortages, resolved shortages, and discontinuations of drug products. Users can also search by generic name or active ingredient or find a drug via an alphabetical list or by therapeutic category. The app, which debuted in March 2015, is the FDA’s first app for quick access to drug shortage information.

Need a study aid for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)? There’s an app for that. NAPLEX Flashcards offer a variety of ways to memorize facts; students can use the study, slide show, matching, memorize, and quiz modes to learn important information for the exam.
