Glycopyrrolate Injection

Manufactured by Zydus Cadila

Compare To: Robinul

The injection is in the dosage strengths of 0.2 mg/mL or 0.4 mg/2 mL single-dose vials or 1 mg/5 mL or 4 mg/20 mL multiple-dose vials. The medication is to be used before surgery to decrease secretion from the lungs, mouth, and stomach; to maintain the heart’s normal beating rhythm; to counter the effects of other medication that can produce secretion or slow heart rate; and as an adjunctive therapy for gastrointestinal ulcers when oral medication is not tolerated or rapid effect is desired.


Metronidazole Gel

Alembic is offering a metronidazole gel at the 1% strength. It is a nitroimidazole that is approved for topical treatment of inflammatory lesions of rosacea and is available in a 60-g tube, as well as a 55-g pump bottle.


Dexamethasone Tablets

Amneal has released a dexamethasone tablet as the generic of Decadron. It is an anti-inflammatory steroid used to treat several medical conditions. It is specifically used for respiratory complications associated with COVID-19. The FDA approved the medication in 4-mg and 6-mg strengths.


Tolvaptan Tablets

Manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals

Compare To: Samsca

Tolvaptan tablets are used to treat low levels of sodium in the blood, or hyponatremia, for individuals with heart failure or hormonal imbalances. The medication is available in a 10-dose blister pack at 30-mg strength. It is compared as a generic alternative to Samsca.
