Daily OTC Pearl: Zegerid

Zegerid is indicated for the treatment of frequent heartburn.

OTC/Lifestyle Pearl of the Day: Zegerid

Indication: Zegerid is indicated for the treatment of frequent heartburn.

Insight:

  • Active ingredients: Omeprazole 20 mg and sodium bicarbonate 1100 mg.
  • Warning: Do not use if allergic to omeprazole.
  • Directions: Use once a day, every day for 14 days.
  • It may take 1 to 4 full days for Zegerid to start working.
  • Swallow 1 capsule with full glass of water at least 1 hour before eating.
