Daily OTC Pearl: Calazime

Calazime is indicated for the treatment and prevention of diaper rash and minor skin irritations.

OTC/Lifestyle Pearl of the Day: Calazime

Indication: Calazime is a non-allergenic, non-sensitizing skin protectant with zinc oxide that helps to treat and prevent diaper rash and minor skin irritations.

Insight:

Calazime dries light exudates from compromised skin. The menthol in Calazime cools irritated skin and calms inflamed tissue. The semi-breathable, long-lasting barrier that Calazime creates on the skin helps to protect torn or exposed skin against harmful stimuli.

Calazime is ideal for normal to broken-down skin and peristomal areas, including G-tube sites. Additionally, Calazime is helpful in skin protection against moisture, itching, and minor irritation. Calazime is also indicated for the relief of discomfort associated with diaper rash caused by wetness, urine, and/or stool and other macerated skin conditions.
