“Dr. Walton was an inspiration to many and paved the way for clinical pharmacy pioneers working to expand the essential patient care services provided by pharmacists,” said ASHP CEO Paul W. Abramowitz, Pharm.D., Sc.D., (Hon.), FASHP. “His leadership and vision have stood the test of time.”
A more extensive look at Dr. Walton’s exemplary career and influence on the profession will be published in the September 15 issue of AJHP.
