ASHP Member Sections Election Results

ASHP members have selected the following persons to serve on the Executive Committees of ASHP’s Pharmacy Practice Sections.

The terms for the Section Chairs-elect begin immediately, and the two-year terms for the Directors-at-Large will begin in June 2018.

The new officers are as follows:

Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners

Chair-elect: Mollie Ashe Scott, Pharm.D., BCACP, CPP, FASHP

Director-at-Large: Erika E. Smith, Pharm.D., BCPS, FACHE

Mollie Ashe Scott, Pharm.D., BCACP, CPP, FASHP, is Regional Associate Dean for the University of North Carolina (UNC) Eshelman School of Pharmacy and holds an appointment with the UNC School of Medicine in Asheville. She is also a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner at Mountain Area Health Education Center, also in Asheville. Dr. Scott has served on the Section Executive Committee as Director-at-Large and is a Past Chair of the Section Advisory Group (SAG) on Clinical Practice Advancement.

Erika E. Smith, Pharm.D., BCPS, FACHE, is Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy and Care Redesign at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Menomonee Falls, Wis. She has served on the SAG on Clinical Practice.

Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists

Chair-elect: Audrey R. Kennedy, Pharm.D., BCPS

Director-at-Large: Katelyn R. Dervay, Pharm.D., M.P.H., BCPS, FASHP

Audrey R. Kennedy, Pharm.D., BCPS, is a Clinical Safety Officer at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She has served as Chair of the Section Educational Steering Committee and as faculty of the ASHP Pediatric Pharmacy Review Course.

Katelyn R. Dervay, Pharm.D., M.P.H., BCPS, FASHP, is the Emergency Medicine Pharmacotherapy Specialist and PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fla. She has served on the Section Educational Steering Committee and is a Past Chair of the SAG on Emergency Care.

Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners

Chair-elect: Todd D. Lemke, Pharm.D., CDE

Director-at-Large: Susan J. Skledar, B.S.Pharm., M.P.H., FASHP

Todd D. Lemke, Pharm.D., CDE, is Director of Pharmacy Services and a Clinical Pharmacist for CentraCare Health—Paynesville in Paynesville, Minn. He is a Past Chair of the SAG on Small and Rural Hospitals and served on the ASHP Foundation Insulin Use Safety Expert Panel.

Susan J. Skledar, B.S.Pharm., M.P.H., FASHP, is the Director of Experiential Learning and Continuing Professional Development, and Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She is a Past Chair of the Section Educational Steering Committee and has served on the ASHP Task Force on Organizational Structure.

Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology

Chair-elect: Maritza Lew, Pharm.D., CPHIMS, PMP

Director-at-Large: Barry M. McClain, Pharm.D., M.S.

Maritza Lew, Pharm.D., CPHIMS, PMP, is a Core Clinical Systems Manager at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif. She has served on the Section Executive Committee as Director-at-Large and is a Past Chair of both the Section Educational Steering Committee and SAG on Professional Development

Barry M. McClain, Pharm.D., M.S., is Director of Pharmacy Information Systems at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wis. He has served on the Section Educational Steering Committee.

Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers

Chair-elect: Kristine Gullickson, Pharm.D., M.B.A., FASHP

Director-at-Large: Robert P. Granko, Pharm.D., M.B.A.

Kristine Gullickson, Pharm.D., M.B.A., FASHP, is the Director of Pharmacy at Allina Health, Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. She has served on the Section Executive Committee as Director-at-Large, is a Past Chair of the ASHP Council on Pharmacy Practice, and served as an expert panel member for the ASHP controlled substance diversion prevention guidelines and the ASHP/American Pharmacists Association Medication Management in Care Transitions project.

Robert P. Granko, Pharm.D., M.B.A., is the Director of Pharmacy at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. He has served as Chair of the SAG on Manager Development, as a member of the SAG on Management of the Pharmacy Enterprise, as a faculty member of the ASHP Managers Boot Camp, and as a delegate to the House of Delegates.
