SupplyScape RxAuthentication Service

SupplyScape Corp (Woburn, Mass)recently launched the SupplyScapeRxAuthentication Service. For the firsttime, the serial number of each pharmaceuticalpackage, called an electronicproduct code (EPC), can be verified asauthentic before the drugs are dispensedto US consumers. The productleverages radio frequency identificationtags to store the EPC of the drug package,which pharmacies and wholesalerscan verify over the Internet.
