Gri-fill System 3.0

Grifols USA Inc (Los Angeles, Calif)recently launched the Gri-fill System 3.0to help pharmacists improve the qualityof compounded sterile preparations andthe processes used to prepare them. Thesystem represents advancement in automatedcompounding technology and areal advantage for pharmacists wantinga practical solution to the operationalchallenges they face today, includingcompliance with the United StatesPharmacopeia Chapter 797 standards.The Gri-fill System 3.0 is a completelyclosed system. It automatically reconstitutessolutions and withdraws volumesin a completely controlled system.The product also delivers sterility.The system uses special containersthat have 0.22-μm filters in thefilling ports.
