Continuing Education Opportunities Highlight Asembia Specialty Pharmacy Summit

Attendees at the 2017 Asembia Specialty Pharmacy Summit will feature a robust lineup of sessions to obtain pharmacy CE credits.

The annual 2017 Asembia Specialty Pharmacy Summit is steadily approaching. This year, Asembia estimates more than 5000 participants will be in attendance at the conference, which runs from April 30 to May 3, 2017, at Wynn and Encore in Las Vegas.

Attendees will not only have the opportunity to hear from experts across the specialty pharmacy landscape, they will also have the opportunity to receive continuing education (CE) credits. Pharmacy Times Continuing EducationTM is offering a robust series of CE opportunities throughout the conference.

The lineup will be highlighted by Specialty Pharmacy Times Editor-in-Chief, Dan Steiber, RPh, who will be speaking May 1, 2017, regarding standards in specialty pharmacy data and the role the industry plays in the health care space.

4. Standards in Specialty Pharmacy Data: The Time is Now

· Description - Outline the role the role that specialty pharmacy plays in the health care space, as well as the need for pharmacy data standardization that has come about as a result of multiple prescription processing platforms and their interactions with payers though online adjudication. Understand the points of differentiation in specialty data versus other pharmacy providers.
