How PQA Identified the Need for New Opioid Measures

Lisa Hines, PharmD: So, we identified the gaps for these measures from the existing evidence showing that this was a problem, and that it was correlated with bad outcomes. And, also the measures are aligned with the CDC Opioid Prescribing Guidelines, and we just found that there was a gap for existing measurement, to address this epidemic.
