Virtual 2020 NASP Meeting To Offer Educational, Networking Opportunities

Although transfering the annual event to a virtual format presented challenges, NASP President and CEO Sheila Arquette, RPh, said she is excited to connect with attendees just as much as in previous years.

Pharmacy Times spoke with Sheila Arquette, RPh, president and CEO of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP), about what attendees can expect at the upcoming 2020 Annual Meeting and Expo Virtual Experience.

“Attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors have my promise and commitment that the NASP Annual Meeting and Expo Virtual Experience will be the next best thing to being there,” Arquette said. “Utilizing innovation and cutting-edge technology, we will deliver all of what folks love and come to expect from the NASP live meeting.”

Arquette said 1 of her favorite parts of each annual meeting is welcoming attendees to Washington, DC, and duplicating this energy in a virtual environment was the greatest challenge. With many surprises, innovative solutions, and events planned, Arquette said she hopes attendees come away feeling the same sense of connection that they do in a typical year.
