He noted that the future of our health is going to be in biological products. The pharmaceutical industry’s focus, he said, will be in treatments for chronic diseases like cancer and multiple sclerosis.
“Within a few years, 50% of all the pharmaceutical industry’s revenues are going to come from these specialty drugs that target very specific diseases,” noted Dr. Fein.
