  • Review clinical practice guidelines and standards of care in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
  • Examine comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diabetes that focus on individualization.
  • Document recommendations, benefits, risks, limitations, and controversies surrounding pharmacologic therapy with insulin.
  • Adopt programs focused on achieving clinical metrics and improving patient outcomes.
