Pharmacy Heroes: Kentucky Pharmacists Fit Test N95 Masks, Disseminate Information to Team Members

Today, we’re thanking Jessica Tackett, PharmD, BCPS, and Brittany Bissell, PharmD, PhD, BCCCP, both of whom work in the University of Kentucky (UK) HealthCare system.

Today, we’re thanking Jessica Tackett, PharmD, BCPS, and Brittany Bissell, PharmD, PhD, BCCCP, both of whom work in the University of Kentucky (UK) HealthCare system.

Tackett is a clinical pharmacist who has been fit-testing N95 masks for the many pharmacists who work at UK HealthCare Good Samaritan Hospital, in addition to taking care of the daily work of pharmacists and caring for her 2 kids at home.

Bissell is a critical care pharmacist who has been gathering evidence-based resources and distributing the information to the group, ensuring that everyone is up-to-date on the latest news regarding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
