Read about cell phone addicts, disrespectful patients, and other pet peeves.

GOOGLERS. Patients who say, “That’s not what Google said.”

CELL PHONE ADDICTS. Patients who are on their cell phones when they walk up to counter. I love interrupting them, though.

DISRESPECT. Patients who talk to me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. Hello! I have a doctorate in pharmacy!

COUPONS. I spent a half hour on the phone last night because a patient thought a coupon would save him more than an e-voucher. Three phone calls and 30 minutes later, the drug came out to the same price either way!

What’s bothering you? Bossy patients, abandoned prescriptions, drive-thrus? Pharmacy Times wants to know. Send your pet peeves to PetPeeves@pharmacytimes.com. We’ll add them to our ongoing published list. Share your Pet Peeves with Pharmacy Times today!
