Author(s):

Marc O’Connor, chief operating officer, Curant Health, discusses the best ways for pharmacies to succeed in the shift to value-based care.

O’Connor: Well, our landscape is changing a great deal and the way to thrive is to really change your philosophy of pharmacy. Where it’s really no longer managing the prescription but it’s really focused on managing the patient—not doing therapy management on a pill but doing it on a person.
