February DEA Conference on Preventing Drug Diversion Open to Pharmacy Personnel in Nevada

Drug Enforcement Administration is offering two regional one-day Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conferences in Las Vegas, NV.

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is offering two regional one-day Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conferences (PDACs) in Las Vegas, NV, with one on Saturday, February 7, 2015, and another on Sunday February 8, 2015. Each one-day conference is open to pharmacy personnel (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, or loss prevention personnel) who are employed by pharmacies or hospitals/clinics that are registered with DEA in the state of Nevada. The conference is designed to assist pharmacy personnel in identifying and responding to potential diversion activity. . There is no registration fee for these conferences. Upon completion of the one-day conference, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians may receive seven Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education-accredited continuing pharmacy education hours (0.7 CEUs).
