Web Site Expands Services

ChainDrugStore.net has added anew feature to its messaging platform.The new off-line option-"Direct-to-Pharmacy" -provides participating retailchains with a customized printreadypublication to distribute eachweek to their pharmacies. As withChainDrugStore.net's on-line pharmacyprogram, Direct-to-Pharmacy letsretail chain officials decide whichmanufacturer messages are distributedto their pharmacists and which areavailable only to headquarters. Theprogram has been designed for thoseretail chains whose pharmacies do nothave on-line access to the Web site.

"We are very excited about this newprogram, which we have been callingD2P during development. This will bethe first of a number of new programsdesigned to better inform pharmacistsof important product updates. And itwill enable retail chains to providetheir pharmacies with this informationin a weekly publication that canbe distributed as a printed document,as a corporate e-mail, or hosted on acorporate Intranet," explained ToddGrover, president.
