Yoga May Relieve Insomnia

A preliminary study from Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, showed thatyoga may help individuals with insomnia. During the study, participants with chronic insomnia didyoga daily. They also kept sleep—wake diaries over a 2-week baseline period and a 8-week subsequentintervention. A comparison of pretreatment and end treatment found that 20 participantsexhibited major improvements in sleep efficiency, total sleep time, total wake time, sleep onsetlatency, and wake time after sleep onset.
