On-line Drug Consumers Willing to Take Risk
Despite lack of FDA approval, more than a third of on-line consumers said that they would purchase prescription medications. The survey, conducted by comScore Networks, found that 54% of the participants were "very concerned" about the safety of on-line drugs, compared with 30% of the respondents who were not concerned. Of the 315 respondents, 38% reported that they would purchase drugs online "that are not FDA-approved but work for me," compared with 45% who said that they would not.
