  • Examine the incidence and negative impact of herpes zoster (HZ), especially postherpetic neuralgia, on affected patients
  • Identify the indications, dosage, administration, and potential adverse effects associated with the FDA-approved HZ vaccines
  • Explain various strategies that pharmacists can implement to increase vaccination rates for HZ as well as their roles as patient advocates, identifiers, educators, and immunizers
