MD Labs/Rxight's Dr. Teri Klein Appointed as Stanford University Professor

MD Labs has announced the Stanford Provost’s approval of Dr. Teri Klein’s appointment as a Professor of Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University. The appointment is effective as of March 1.
Dr. Klein, current Chief Scientific Advisor for MD Labs’ Rxight pharmacogenetics, will continue as Director and Co-Principal Investigator for PharmGKB and as Leader and Co-Principal Investigator for the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC).
Her research includes studies of an integrated knowledge base concerning variation in human genetics and how it can lead to variation in responses to drugs, the stability of the collagen triple helix, and the relationship and prediction of lethal mutation for the genetic collagenous disease osteogenesis imperfecta.
“We congratulate Dr. Teri Klein,” Matthew Rutledge, co-founder of MD Labs, said in a press release. “This tremendous accomplishment is a testament to her contribution at Stanford and in the world of pharmacogenomics.”
