“I would say the most important issue all pharmacists should focus on during pharmacy month is access to pharmaceutical benefits,” he says. “With rising health care costs and pharmacy benefit managers and insurance companies trying to make sure you get the best product for the lowest price, we’re sort of losing focus on what we’re here for.”
