At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Analyze the burden of illness and the pathophysiology of COPD
  • Examine the most updated GOLD guidelines and current strategies for managing COPD
  • Differentiate available maintenance therapy to individualize treatment for patients with COPD
  • Optimize the pharmacist’s role in educating patients on the proper usage and importance of adherence to inhaled pharmacotherapy in managing COPD
