NASP has been incredibly busy this past year, and of years past, but we’ve continued to pick up a lot of momentum, especially on the Hill, and efforts within Health and Human Services (HHS). We also visit CMS in Baltimore as well, but it seems like we’ve made it more up to the executive row within HHS and Alex Azar’s staff, and really have their ear relative to the important points to our members and our industry. We just have an incredible support system implemented, very collaborative, very strategic partner called DPG (District Policy Group). They’re in Washington, DC. They work very closely with us to plan out our meetings on the Hill, meetings we might have with specific Congressmen or Senators, as well as within the realms of CMS and HHS.
