Express Rx Refills Available at Rite Aid

The Rite Aid in Narberth, Pa, is nowhome to a ScriptCenter prescriptionrefill kiosk. ScriptCenter allows pharmacypatients to pick up their refillsfrom a machine after the pharmacycloses or during busy periods at thepharmacy counter. ScriptCenter, whichis safe and secure, was developed byAsteres Inc.

Before using ScriptCenter, patientsmust first enroll at the pharmacy andreceive a confidential enrollmentnumber to create a user identificationname and password. Refill prescriptionsare loaded into the ScriptCentermachine by pharmacy associates.

Phil Keough, senior vice president ofpharmacy operations for Rite Aid, said,"Giving our patients an option toquickly pick up refills will help free upour pharmacists so they can spendmore time with patients who need aconsultation or additional help withtheir health care needs."
