CAN YOU READTHESE Rxs?
Rx One:Charles Egbon, PharmD, RPh, of CVS Pharmacy #3180 in Mansfield, Tex, was completely stumped when this prescription came into the pharmacy. He attempted to interpret the prescribing physician's order, but was unsuccessful. Instead of continuing to play the guessing game, Dr. Egbon called the physician's office for assistance. Can you clarify this prescription?
Rx Two:At first glance, Registered Pharmacist Geri Raj, of K-mart Pharmacy #3592 in Las Vegas, Nev, thought this prescription was going to be a problem. After looking at the patient name on the order, the pharmacy was able to figure out the prescription before calling the physician's office. It turned out that the patient had the same prescription filled before. Do you have a clue as to what drug is being prescribed?
