Voucher Program Extended for Arthritis Drug
The Trial Script voucher programfor Rheumatrex Dose Pack (methotrexatesodium tablets) has been extendedto August 2005. Rheumatrex, manufacturedby STADA Pharmaceuticals,Inc, is a once-weekly disease-modifyingantirheumatic drug for rheumatoidarthritis.
In the voucher program, patientsreceive a free 1-month trial supply ofRheumatrex in any weekly dosage available(5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, or15 mg). Physicians affix the voucher tothe back of the prescription form. Thepatients activate the voucher by callinga toll-free number. Transactions are electronicallyprocessed through drug utilizationprograms, which may detectpotential drug interactions.
