Dental Problems May Cause Headaches
Pharmacy Times, Volume 0, 0
Diet, stress, and fatigue may not be the only leading causes of headaches. Research has shown that a poorly aligned bite or missing teeth may lead to frequent headaches. Patients and dentists should look for the following signs that the mouth is the culprit behind headaches:
- Pain behind the eyes
- Sore jaw muscles
- Teeth grinding
- Clicking or popping of jaw joints
- Earaches or ringing in the ears
- Dizziness
Experts recommend that patients who have frequent headaches along with these symptoms visit their dentist.
