Will Advancements in Digital Health Have an Impact on Patient Care?

Grant Knowles, PharmD, vice president, Business Development, Ardon Health, discusses the role digital health may play in patient care.

Knowles: I think digital health is where we are moving. Does anybody have the perfect product, something that’s used by everybody? It’s hard to get individuals to engage in 1 product.

I think there will be advancements and I think it’s going to start first with connectivity—I think we’ve seen a lot of it with the connectivity of pharmacies, physicians, and health plans. As that connectivity grows, I think it’ll become more prominent in our day-to-day lives.
