- Aug. 6 – All Pharmacy Town Hall: Examining Changes in Vaccine Policy Affecting Practice and the Community webinar. NCPA is teaming up with several national pharmacy groups to host a joint webinar the effects of recent changes in vaccine policy and practice recommendations on vaccine service delivery. - Aug. 14 – Harnessing the Pharmacist-Patient Relationship: Enhancing Revenue and Better Diabetes Outcomes Through Community-Based Education webinar, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series.Discover how pharmacist interventions drive better diabetes outcomes through patient-centered communication that helps reduce bias, build trust, and create stronger connections. - Aug. 24 – Registration deadline for the Diabetes Accreditation Boot Camp. The NCPA Innovation Center and PharmFurther offer this turnkey online course to help prepare participants for diabetes self-management education accreditation in six weeks or less so they can bill Medicare and other payers for diabetes education they’re probably already providing. - Sept. 9 – Application deadline for the 2025 Innovations in Community Practice Poster Symposium, taking place at the NCPA Annual Convention. This session serves as an opportunity for NCPA members, students, recent graduates and residents to present research or a service beneficial to the profession of community pharmacy. - Sept. 23 – Application deadline for the 2025 Residency Showcase, taking place at the NCPA Annual Convention. Pharmacy teams can highlight their post-graduate program while connecting with students who are eager to learn more about community pharmacy. Learn more and apply.

- Encouraging community pharmacy teams to invite their federal representatives for a pharmacy visit during the August in-district work period. With PBM reforms falling out of the budget reconciliation bill, we need to continue pressing Congress to include previously agreed upon reforms. - Registration is open for the Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs being held in New Orleans ahead of the NCPA 2025 Annual Convention. Learn more and register.
- Registration is open for the NCPA 2025 Annual Convention and Expo. The convention will be held Oct. 18-21 in New Orleans and is the premier national business show for independent pharmacists and their teams. To take advantage of better hotel rates, attendees must register for the convention and book their housing by Sept. 23. Learn more and register.
