The Impact of COVID-19 Prophylaxis Treatment for Pharmacists from ASHP

Pharmacy Times spoke to ASHP’s Vice President of Government Relations Tom Kraus about the recent actions from ASHP urging the HHS to allow pharmacists to provide COVID-19 prophylaxis treatment.

Kraus talked about topics such as the driving force for ASHP to reach out to the HHS, how treatments like REGEN-COV will benefit the general public and the pharmacy landscape, and ensuring adequate reimbursement from insurers being available for pharmacists when to taking part in these kinds of services.
