“She has gone above and beyond to ensure that her students have maintained a healthy mindset during this quarantine,” said Kathryn Albert, a PY3 PharmD student.
To keep students energized, Garcia has started an art challenge within the APhA-ASP chapter, encouraging members to express happiness through any sort of art project.
“She has been so positive and helpful through this quarantine process,” Albert said in a message to Pharmacy Times®. “I am beyond thankful for all she has done for myself and other student pharmacists around Florida.”
