NCPA Announces Keynote Speaker for Annual Convention

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Sept. 18, 2025) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce that Marty Smith, a popular and recognized reporter and host at ESPN, will be a keynote speaker for its 2025 Annual Convention, set for Oct. 18-21 in New Orleans. NCPA’s Annual Convention is the premier national business show for independent pharmacists and their teams, featuring quality peer-to-peer business-boosting education, endless networking opportunities with old friends and new connections, and an Expo Hall filled with companies that have products and services to help make their business stronger and more efficient.

Smith joined ESPN in 2006, and covers a variety of sports including college football, basketball, both the NFL and NBA, NASCAR and others. His work can be seen across ESPN platforms like SportsCenter and ESPN.com. He also launched “Marty Smith’s America” on ESPN2 and authored two books, “Never Settle” and “Sideline CEO.” In “Sideline CEO,” Smith shares leadership lessons from championship coaches, offering insights that extend beyond sports into everyday life. Smith will be talking through these observations and much more during NCPA’s general session on Sunday, Oct. 19.
