ALEXANDRIA, Va. (June 3, 2025) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:

  • June 11 – Mental Health First Aid Training, online. Pharmacy team members are more likely to encounter a mental health episode than a situation requiring basic life support or CPR. This live online training course will help attendees identify, understand, and respond to people in need of this assistance. Thanks to the Cardinal Health Foundation, registration is available at a reduced rate. Learn more and register by June 4.
  • June 12 – Navigating LTC Pharmacy Audits: Trends, Risks, and Strategies for Success, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Long-term care pharmacies face growing scrutiny as PBMs tighten audit processes. This webinar will explore key LTC audit trends, high-risk categories, and mitigation strategies.   • July 9-10 – Pharmacy Ownership Workshop, in Nashville, Tenn., sponsored by McKesson and in part by First Financial Bank and Pharmacists Mutual Companies. This is a can’t-miss program for pharmacists considering pharmacy ownership or current owners looking to polish their management skills. Learn more and register by June 23.

Additionally, registration opens on June 9 for the NCPA 2025 Annual Convention and Expo, which will be held Oct. 18-21 in New Orleans, and for our Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs as well. This convention is premier national business show for independent pharmacists and their teams, featuring peer-to-peer business education, endless networking opportunities with old friends and new connections, and an Expo Hall filled with companies that have products and services to help make their business stronger and more efficient.
