Jayan Nair, MD Joins Clinical Team at FCS Sarasota Downtown Location
For more than a decade, Dr. Nair has provided hematology and oncology care in community, academic and hospital settings. His involvement in clinical research has been instrumental in advancing chemotherapeutics and behavioral interventions. He has authored and co-authored several abstracts published in prestigious journals and presented at professional symposiums.
“The developments in oncology care stemming from Dr. Nair’s research have made a vast impact on the oncology world,” said FCS President & Managing Physician
Dr. Nair received his medical degree from T D Medical College at the University of Kerala, India, and then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Maulana Azad Medical College at the University of Delhi, India. He then completed a second residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.

In addition to traditional treatments for cancer, patients visiting the FCS Sarasota Downtown office have access to genetic testing, including next-generation sequencing (NGS), care management services, nutrition counseling, imaging and radiology services, and much more.
