Implementing Pharmacy Measures for Specific Conditions

These measures are specified for application to pharmacies, as opposed to health plan measures.

Pharmacy Times spoke with Micah Cost, PQA Chief Executive Officer, at the PQA Annual Meeting 2022 about past pharmacy performance measures compared to measures now.

Cost: The difference is the use of data and the opportunity to use different sets of pharmacy data to collect a more complete picture. It's also the level of attribution. These measures are specified for application to pharmacies, as opposed to health plan measures. These are actually specified for use in pharmacies and those value-based agreements that they may be put in.
