How the POLY-HF Trial Shows Pharmacists' Key Role in Heart Failure Care

In the trial, which Pandey led with assistance from Miller's compounding pharmacy, a combination pill for heart failure improved heart function, symptoms, and quality of life in adults with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. Beavers, Pandey, and Miller highlight the pivotal role of pharmacists in counseling and educating patients on the benefits of polypill therapy.
