The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) kicked off its annual Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition this Saturday in Anaheim, California.

Each year, more than 25,000 pharmacy professionals from around the world attend the meeting, which provides valuable opportunities for professional development, enhancing practice skills, and staying up-to-date on the latest products and innovations.

Specialty pharmacists can gain valuable information from ASHP’s new Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners (SSPP), which provides an enhanced focus on helping its members provide optimal patient care and comprehensive medication management in the specialty pharmacy environment in hospitals and health systems.
