NCPA and PAAS Join to Launch Card Info Clearinghouse
The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and the Pharmacy Audit Assistance Service (PAAS) National have joined together to launch an on-line resource designed to help pharmacists better understand the multitude of new Medicare discount drug card policies. Called the NCPA Contract Clearinghouse, the service provides independent pharmacists with important details regarding discount cards ? eg, reimbursement rates, deadlines for enrollment, and other contractual information. The Clearinghouse, available on the "Members Only" section of www.ncpanet.org, is intended to help pharmacists to make informed decisions regarding discount card plan participation.
