Yasser Heakal, PhD, MS, MBA, RPh, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at D'Youville College School of Pharmacy in Buffalo, New York. He received his MBA and PhD in pharmacology from Pennsylvania State University and then completed a research fellowship in translational cancer research, as well as a pharmacy internship at the University of North Carolina Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. His current interests are focused on applications of pharmacogenomics in clinical practice.
