Pharmacy Times interviewed Mary Reed, DrPH, research scientist at Kaiser Permanente, on the subject of her 2021 ADA conference session, "Reimagining Diabetes Care in the Virtual World."

In this discussion, Reed focuses on what advances need to be made to provide patients with quality virtual health care even as the pandemic wanes. She urges practitioners not to abandon the telemedicine methods that were implemented due to COVID-19, and emphasized that patients who have experience with telemedicine are far more likely to want to use it again.
