Seasoned Pharmacist Mark Gregory Joins Ateb's Business Development Team

RALEIGH, NC — In order to continually succeed in providing patient-centered pharmacy solutions that improve health outcomes and reduce overall healthcare costs, Ateb has brought on Mark Gregory, R. Ph. to assist the Business Development team.

Gregory, previously the Senior Vice President of Kerr Drug, brings to Ateb 30+ years of pharmacy industry experience and a solid understanding of the power of patient care through pharmacist intervention. During his time at Kerr Drug, Gregory’s responsibilities included store operations and support, oversight of pharmacy systems and automation, contracting with Managed Care organizations, pharmacy administration, operational policies and procedures, patient care and compliance programs, university relationships and government affairs activities.

Gregory graduated in 1982 from Ohio Northern University and in October 2011 was awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award. He was a practicing pharmacist for 11 years when he assumed corporate positions as Manager of Pharmacy Systems and Third Party Programs at Thrift Drug Company in Pittsburgh, PA.

As a past President of the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists, a past Chairman Executive Committee of the North Carolina Retail Merchants Association, and a Member and past Chairman of the NACDS Policy Council, Gregory has taken on various leadership responsibilities in the pharmacy industry.

Ateb works diligently at building a team of highly-skilled experts that are focused on facilitating care coordination between healthcare providers and pharmacy partners. Gregory is aligned with Ateb’s core principles to help pharmacy become an effective resource that aids patients in achieving their personal healthcare objectives by providing cutting-edge, sophisticated adherence solutions to our pharmacy partners.
