School of Pharmacy Signs Agreement with the Cleveland Clinic

The University of Charleston School of Pharmacy has entered a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 6 UCSOP fourth-year student pharmacists to complete 5 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotations at the hospital in Cleveland, OH.

The University of Charleston School of Pharmacy (UCSOP) has entered a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 6 UCSOP fourth-year student pharmacists to complete 5 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations at the hospital in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Julie Testman, UCSOP Director of Experiential Education and Mrs. Jane Condee, UCSOP Assistant Director Experiential Education, were instrumental in negotiating the agreement.

Dr. Testman stated “The Department of Experiential Education is very excited to provide this opportunity for our students interested in pursuing post-graduate residency training. This partnership is a great addition to our strong foundation of advanced pharmacy practice experiences available to fourth-year student pharmacists. “

The first group of student pharmacists who were selected for the rotations are Jennifer Byerly, Jelena Radan, Lorant Honoré, Tammy Yoxtheimer, Marco Custodio and Kyle Sargent.
